This August, Women in Showbiz Everywhere (WISE) proudly shines our Spotlight on the incredible Jamie Lee Curtis! With a career spanning five decades, Curtis has captivated audiences with her versatility, charisma, and fearless commitment to her craft.
From her breakout performance in Halloween to iconic roles in True Lies, Freaky Friday, and Knives Out, Jamie Lee Curtis has continually redefined what it means to be a leading woman in Hollywood. Most recently, she won an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor for her unforgettable role in the hit series The Bear, while also taking home an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Curtis is celebrated not just for her artistry, but also for her wisdom and authenticity. As she once said, “Resilience is accepting your new reality, even if it’s less good than the one you had before.
