Empowering Voices: Vineesha Arora-Sarin at the 2024 AWE Luncheon Vineesha Arora-Sarin, President & Executive Director of WISE, delivered an inspiring speech at the 2024 Asian Women Empowered (AWE) Luncheon. She introduced WISE by sharing its founding story and mission to empower women in entertainment through amplifying their visibility and agency. Her address underscored the need for systemic change and highlighted the pivotal role women play in shaping the industry.
Reflecting on the event, Vineesha remarked, "It was an honor to share the stage with extraordinary women at this AWEsome luncheon who are breaking barriers and shattering glass ceilings in global entertainment. Several of whom I admire - Janet Yang, Dana Ledoux Miller, Joan Chen, Rachel Kondo, Veronika Kwan Vandenberg to name just a few. I’m truly humbled to speak about WISE and the work we’re doing to create spaces for women and underrepresented communities in the industry. Being recognized less than two years since our founding is an incredible honor, and I’m deeply grateful to the Asia Society for sharing their platform with us."

Honoring Game Changers at the 15th U.S.-Asia Entertainment Summit Following the luncheon, the 15th U.S.-Asia Entertainment Summit and Game Changer Awards honored icons shaping the future of cross-cultural entertainment. Legendary actress Joan Chen was celebrated for her extraordinary contributions to film and television. Dana Ledoux Miller, co-director and co-writer of Moana 2, and Rachel Kondo, co-creator of the Emmy Award-winning series Shogun, were also recognized for their remarkable storytelling and impact on the global stage.
