We are thrilled to share the resounding success of Lady With a Film's inaugural showcase, where the spotlight shone brightly on female prowess in the world of cinema. WISE had the honor of hosting a special theatrical screening of Decal's "Tripped Up," a cinematic masterpiece directed by the talented Shruti Ganguly and produced by the dynamic duo Linda Evans and Nina Warren.
The film, starring Leah Lewis, Ashley Moore, Ariel Winter, Sasha Fox, and the incredible Vanessa Williams, captivated the audience and showcased the incredible talent of women in the industry. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed partner, USC School of Cinematic Arts, for joining hands with us to make this event truly spectacular.
The evening continued with an engaging Q&A session moderated by our Executive Director, Vineesha Arora-Sarin, and Sheetal Vyas, Head of Programming at WISE. The insightful discussion provided a deeper look into the creative process and the empowering stories behind the film.
