Rosco Europe

In January 2011 Rosco began its second century of developing and supplying products for theatre, film, television and live entertainment production. Recipient of four Academy Awards and an Emmy Award, Rosco now offers a wide range of products that in addition to colour filters and gobos includes scenic paint, coatings and materials, motion effects projectors and accessories, fog and smoke systems and a popular and rapidly expanding range of LED Litepads. One year ago Rosco founded its architectural division with a dedicated team of product specialists who specify and oversee international installations. Rosco has several stocking locations as well as sales offices all over the globe and is a corporate member of many professional organizations such as the American Society of Cinematographers, The Italian Authors of Photographers, PLASA, USITT, ABTT and many others. In addition many Rosco employs have either been elected to or have joined these organizations individually. Rosco is proud and happy to be a WiSE sponsor and to have several "in house" WiSE members.

White Light

White Light has been supplying lighting equipment and services to the entertainment, presentation and event industries since 1971. In our early years, most of our work was supplying the theatre industry, providing lighting equipment to productions in London and on tour around the UK - including such landmark, long-running shows as Les Misérables and Miss Saigon. Lighting has now spread far beyond theatre and can be found everywhere from schools to corporate events, parties, themed environments, film, television and architecture. We have expanded into many of those areas too, regularly providing equipment or services to anything from the smallest fringe show to the biggest musicals; to weddings, parties or product launches; equipping new theatres; providing the infrastructure in new or converted buildings and much, much more.
Through all of these projects, we have built a reputation for innovation and reliability, constantly striving to provide our customers with the lighting technology they need, and always with the equipment carefully prepared, delivered on time and at the best possible price. As a result our services are in demand worldwide, with recent projects as far afield as North America, Russia, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Australia, Germany and China.

It is the only facility totally dedicated to the development and manufacture of these products, with production lines whose equipment is continuously updated to maintain accuracy, consistency, and unsurpassed quality.

Charcoalblue

Charcoalblue provides bespoke design guidance on spaces intended for the presentation of drama, opera, dance, music, film and art. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, and in developing user-led projects.
As a flavour of our recent activity, 2010 saw our collaboration with Haworth Tompkins on the Hoffman Building at Snape Maltings win a RIBA award. We also saw the public opening of the RSC's Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon - a theatre which has been 6 years in the making and has since received huge critical acclaim. The Core at Corby Cube also opened in November 2010, setting a new benchmark in adaptable performance space, rooted in the lessons of the best of theatre architecture from the past.
2011 has been another busy year - we have seen the ongoing development of the National Theatre's Futures Project, which includes a re-working of the Cottesloe Theatre. We continue work on the refurbishment of a concert hall in Belgium, and we recently celebrated the opening of the Ebert recital room at Glyndebourne.
